I'm not supposed to be this tired THIS early in the school term, am I? It's only week two.

So I started two classes in the summer semester at UC-Berkeley Extension. The classes are Finance and Accounting. I'm also working on finishing an online class I was taking this spring in statistics. I've finished the course material; I've just got the final remaining in that class. I have to complete that sometime before Sept. 3. Once I finish these classes, I'll be done with my certificate in Business Administration through UC-Berkeley Extension. I found out, if I can maintain my GPA above 3.5 (I have a 4.0 right now), I get a "certificate with distinction". Oooooooh! Aaaaaah! Whoopee?

I should be done with all of this by the end of August and I'm hoping I can redirect the focus of my career towards more business-oriented work.

I also found out a couple weeks ago that I have severe sleep apnea. Right now, we are doing week of tests with some test equipment which is NOT working for me. It's a head-gear-type thing that is supposedly measuring my breathing but I can't get to sleep with this thing on my head and I keep waking up so it's negatively affecting whatever poor level of sleep I was getting before. I feel even worse right now. Really, really exhausted. The sleep lab technicians were pushing a mask-type solution similar to what I'm using now in this test equipment. I doubt I would try it if it's similar to this thing. This isn't working. I'd rather go back to my previous level of sleep and try to work on the environmental factors affecting my sleep: air flow in my bedroom, fresh air, better pillows, better bed, losing weight and other body-centric solutions.
